No message? [Spirituality & Religion]

If you pray for years and try to be a good person, do the right things, be kind, always forgive, and you pray for answers to your suffering but get no message, would you consider no message as still a message? Like no response is still a response and it can be a powerful one? Am I supposed to continue to wait? What if they reason there’s no answer to my suffering is because there is no message? No purpose? No reason?
The enemy wants you to think God has forgotten you, but it’s just the opposite. God’s working on your behalf, in His perfect timing.

Many Christians assume that silence from Heaven means something has gone wrong, that the inability to “feel” God’s Spirit, means God has turned His face away. But this is not what God’s Word tells us. His apparent silence is, in fact, an important part of how He works in our lives and grows us up into the men and women of faith, He wants us to be.

I have walked with the Lord a long time, and when we feel like God has left us, He wants you to know that He will never leave you, nor forsake you, even if it feels like he is absent. I hold to the faith, knowing that regardless, His Love endures forever.

Perhaps he is teaching you that sometimes, you need to slow down, take a deep breath, be less anxious, trust, and simply rest in that quiet place with Him. He’s got everything under control, and he really doesn’t need your help.

Isn’t that funny? Us....trying to help GOD. All he asks, is that we trust beyond our natural senses. To believe, and take him at his word, when he says nothing can pluck us from his hand. We are the apple of His eye. He sees us and hears us...even when we feel he is absent. You cannot out-do God’s love and care. He is always there.

Sometimes, we forget that Jesus is all we need, and he’s always been there, when all else has failed. Can you walk by faith in God’s promises alone, even when you can’t see or feel anything?

In reality, we most certainly are not alone during tough times, but walking by faith means believing that we are not alone, even when we can’t feel the warmth of God’s presence.

While we’re in what I call, “God’s waiting room”, this is a very good time to meditate on God’s promises, which are infinitely stronger than feelings and emotions. We can rest assured that He is working on our behalf...getting things ready, or even working on someone else’s heart, on your behalf. Just to give you an idea of what is going on in your quiet time with God, He is giving you an opportunity to learn to trust, persevere, learn patience, slow down, not get ahead of Him, or seek answers from everyone but Him. He’s got all the answers, and you’ll find them in His love letter to you...His Divine Word. Give Him time to work out the details, before you try to get ahead of His timing. During this time, he also helps us appreciate what we already have, not just physically, but in Him.

As you grow in Christ, this quiet time will help you do a little reassessing on where you are at in your relationship with God. Do you need improvement? Is God trying to tell you something is not working for you and needs to be changed? You know, sometimes we can get so busy doing God’s work, we forget about talking to him or just praising him. We have a relationship with a loving and faithful God. Let’s not forget...He has feelings, too. He misses us and longs for fellowship, too. When was the last time you simply talked to God, or praised Him. It seems people go to him, mostly for what they can get from him, and rarely just to show their love. That has to hurt God, after all he’s done for us. God is always faithful, whether we are, or not.
You’re not doing anything wrong. Sometimes the answer is just no. No matter what the answer, remember that God sees into your future and always has your best interest at heart.
It's all about whatever you choose to believe... Hope/faith versus cynicism/apathy/disillusion... And it can be a mixture and fluctuation of all of these, a sliding scale... That's how it is for me... I'm not a religious person, but I like to think that there's reason for hope and survival beyond the daily grind of the 40-and-more-hours-a-week job that barely allows humans to be freely human... Anyways... I wish you well, whatever you choose to believe...

Do you pray? If so, what do you pray for? Whether you are in the habit of praying or not, you may wonder: ‘Does it really do any good to pray? Is anyone listening?’ One writer expressed the view that prayer is just “a form of therapy . . . like talking to your pet fish.” Some medical authorities have a similar view, calling prayer a form of “alternative medicine.”

St Paul prayered for healing and didn't get healed. He said God's answer was "I've blessed you other things. My grace toward you is sufficient"
I went through this same thing so I can understand. And there are different answers really depending on your perspective.

@Prisoner619 God doesn't test with suffering.
There's a reason there's no message

No news is good news

Doubt is common, it happens, but I can't help to hear a lack of faith within your words.

When you say
but get no message
, what exactly do you mean by that?
Hellosunshine · 36-40, F
@MartinTheFirst an answer as to why I’ve been through so much suffering and will it ever end?
MartinTheFirst · 26-30, M
@Hellosunshine And you can not find that within the Bible? Do you read it?

I can point you to several scriptures that would answer that for you, but I now think we know why you haven't got the answer...
