@Jake966 I think it's deeper than that! It's a manifestation of insecurity. The subject poses a question that will receive answers which she can respond to with 'zingers' that will give her a smug sense of intellectual superiority and self satisfaction. The question itself is disingenuous and passive aggressive in nature, and so is the intent behind the question. You can almost set your watch by these types of questions and when she asks them. Every time her pseudo intellectual smugness 'fix' wears off, she asks another one. It's kind of humorous, but it's more pitiable.
@suzie1960 Why would you say that? This is a forum. The reality is, I am addressing someone who is attempting to "stir things". That is what people do on forums. When I am inspired to "stir things" I will post my 'hate bait' or my'brilliant insight', or my 'facetious or serious question' and people will either respond or react or ignore my contribution.

That's a bit rude of you. [i]You[/i] entered [i]my[/i] thread and engaged with me in a topic of discussion which i found intellectually stimulating and you took all too personally. I think it's a bit dishonest of you to say i only want to argue on the basis that i didn't agree with your point of view.
