Should I not be Christian anymore? [Spirituality & Religion]

So my lover is Christian as well as their family. Most of my family is also Christian. I don’t wanna let them down or feel awkward at family gatherings. I personally don’t feel comfortable being Christian (because of past experiences) and feel like I should follow my own path, but I feel weird doing that too. It’s like your whole world does something different than you and it feels strange to not be a part of any of that anymore and I want advice on how to handle this. I really like Buddhism and paganism. I also feel it’s wrong to push your religion onto others and that’s one of the issues I have with Christianity.

Take pieces from each religion you study. Each one has its own wisdom. When people ask what you are just say I am me. Paganism is very pretty in my opinion and I think the eastern religions can give tools to help achieve inner peace. So mix and match.

@canusernamebemyusername I really like the idea of rebirth and enjoy how bubbhism portrays it. I also like how it has really just a bunch of helpful stuff. I want something like that, but I also think there’s an infinite loop of different realities that you can be reborn into
@Lilwillbe Then you can even add some science in there. Multiverse theory for example. I hope you find what you are looking for and that it make you feel whole.

@Lilwillbe anytime. I know I have had plenty of existential crisises myself.
