Are science and religion compatible? [Spirituality & Religion]

There are many religions out there and many creation stories. From what I've seen, many people would prefer to believe their religious texts than accepts some of the findings of science. Discuss.

@SW-User Ok, just saw a brief description. Sounds very interesting and, from what I can see, there is a valid point about Churches being not keeping up with the real world.
