Why is it that many Christians seem to find it acceptable to make fun of Mormons for their beliefs, yet complain about atheists making fun of theirs? [Spirituality & Religion]

@Emosaur and the funny thing is you do give a crap Emosaer. otherwise, you would not care. the opposite of love is not to hate, it's apathy. not caring at all. yet you care so much you are driven to poet what you do. do you even realize that if you were apathetic it would not matter to you but instead you seemed obsessed by Christians. why is that?

@Emosaur interesting, when i look it up i get something quite different. the opposite of love is apathy, indifference or fear. love and hate are actually very close on the emotional spectrum. when an ex-lover still hates you it is very easy to determine they still have strong feelings for you. while indifference or apathy is a lack of feelings about you. so yes you still do care a lot about Christians based on your constant postings about them. i'd love to crack you open ad really see what you are trying so hard to hide. unfortunately, sw is not a therapy couch and that would be unfair to you. but don't ever say you don't care when it is so glaringly obvious you do.
I can feel the love all over this thread 馃槆馃憣

Where did you find that definition? It's not one I've ever seen before. The opposite of "love" is "hate", both as verbs and nouns.

@suzie1960

a simple goodle searcg gives you tons of references that say indifference

https://en.wikiquote.org/wiki/Elie_Wiesel this is the best one imo

fear

@ladycae Not exactly authoritative nor even reliable sources.

https://en.wikiquote.org/wiki/Elie_Wiesel - The opposite of love is not hate, it's indifference. The opposite of art is not ugliness, it's indifference. The opposite of faith is not heresy, it's indifference. And the opposite of life is not death, it's indifference.

They are all postulating philosophical arguments, not attempting to define words. Try a proper thesaurus.

why don't you produce authoritative and reliable sources? after all it's your question and i did tell you to google it for other sources.
