Saying he must be real because you cant disprove his ressurection is a dumb argument. Disprove the easter bunny exists... you cant. Must be real.
ladycae · 100+, F
@Osu7628 i agree i much prefer to point out all the science in the bible that they could not have possibly known and go from there
@ladycae
all the science in the bible that they could not have possibly known and go from there
Oh neat! Would you point some of that out for me?
ladycae · 100+, F
no becuase i will not debate you. but you might try a google searcgh to start.

Graylight · 51-55, F
Not a fairy tale, actually. There's ample proof from different disciplines to suggest Jesus lived.

Now...tell me all about Santa and the Eater Bunny and the fair distribution of goods and services from the Republicans...
LMAO

And you believe in "magic"...smh
ladycae · 100+, F
it's not a fairy tale. so there is no problem. tell me how does it feel to be insulting to others who hold different ideas and beliefs than yours?
EnchantedAzy · 26-30, FVIP
Im a Sister of the old religion. The one your people tried to decimate. You know nothing, darling. So thank you for your opinion, but Im not fond of how rude you are being.
ladycae · 100+, F
@EnchantedAzy after how rude your question and answer was i'm a saint
EnchantedAzy · 26-30, FVIP
Saint of bullshit 🤗
Graylight · 51-55, F
What do you care what people believe or why?
SW-User
No one can disapprove the Resurrection of Jesus. Prove it to be fake, then you have me sold.

(Only if you want to. I really don't care...it's 30 passed midnight)!
@SW-User That’s not how it works.
SW-User
@MsAnnThropy No, seriously. If you really want concrete evidence, about Jesus being who he says he is, his resurrection says it all. Take time to analyze it (historically, records, ect...) there's literally no other explanation. ;) Had my doubts too.
@SW-User There is zero evidence for the resurrection. But hey, nice try.
room101 · 51-55, M
It feels pretty good actually.

Tell me, how does it feel to believe in a mystical island reigned over by five goddesses? Does it give your life meaning? Does it give you purpose? Does it give you comfort and solace when all around you seems to be chaos and discord? Does it give you a sense of community with others of the same belief system?

Finally, why is your fairytale any more valid than mine?
OKWTF2 · 51-55, M
Well rather then going around torturing and killing Christians, that was his job, it made a huge difference in the life of Saul.

For me prior to being saved, I wouldn't have given a rat's ass if I saw you bleeding to death on the side of a road either. I am no where near that kind of person any more. And, every single day I have real joy in my life and peace.

Hea, if you have joy in your life and are at peace, great, if not, maybe you need to rethink that Jesus might have been who he said he was and not a raving lunatic.

But God gives us free will and you are always free not to believe. God will always love you and Christians will also NOT leave you on the side of a road to die like a dog.
OKWTF2 · 51-55, M
@EnchantedAzy ya, because life before Christianity was heading in a moral direction.

IT HAS EVERYTHING TO DO WITH IT.
EnchantedAzy · 26-30, FVIP
Oh? I didnt know you were that old? You live in pre christian era?? You know how moral our ancestors were?
OKWTF2 · 51-55, M
@EnchantedAzy well, first off, you asked how does it feel to believe in Jesus. But, yes, I do know history and believe it or not, you do not have to be alive in history to know and understand it. Yes, people were killed regularly in very brutal ways, tortured and killed by Saul before he was saved.

We can just go back a few years of history if you like. In Iraq, teenagers were given a choice; say you love mohammad, not Jesus. They refused, they were killed. In Kenya gunman broke into a dorm and asked the students, are you muslin or Christian. If you proclaimed your faith as a Christian, you were killed. In Egypt not too long before these atrocities of humans pretty much the same thing happened. It is so hard to imagine, given the choice and knowing the consequences, then to be killed for it! Killed for a 1st century carpenter? And yes, through historical evidence even in Jesus’ day many of his followers were killed for proclaiming His return. A person does not let themselves be killed to defend a lie! At least I do not believe that to be true. Draw your own conclusion of how this relates to the moral fiber of human beings.

But aside from that I also answered your question directly.

Before I became saved I can say in complete honesty that I would have watched you die by the side of the road and really would not have cared a whole lot about your death or the grief it may have caused others. Would say, oh how sad, but not really thought of it after. I personally am infinitely better human being after having accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. Now, I would help you and prevent your death. That is just one example that I believed to be extreme and provided a personal real reference.

Another important change is that I have peace in my life that I never had before. To have a loving, forgiving heart is not something that is easy. Sin is sin, and the worse person in the worse prison is still a child of God and their sin is of no greater significance in the eyes of God then mine, or yours. Even if it is personal, even if this person hurt or killed your own child. God loves them and commands you to love one another as Jesus loved and died for us. It is easy to hold on to hurt and anger, forgiveness, not so much. It may take time, certainly a lot of effort, but when you have a compassionate, forgiving heart the world of walking with God opens up so much to you. I also found it was impossible to forgive with out the help of God. If you have not been treated in such heinous manner that you can relate to this struggle, I hope you never experience it and can not relate to what I am trying to say at all for the rest of your life.

And again, I also have joy in my life. I've had a wonderful life filled with lots of happiness. Also a lot of pain and loss and years of suffering. Even suffered from deep depression, and still fight mild bi-polar from time to time. Again, once I accepted Jesus Christ I can now say I have joy in my life. Life can still be hard, brutal at times, but my days always starts and end with joy.

To sum it up, you asked how it feels to believe in the fairytale of Jesus Christ?

It was, is and shall always be the best decision I have ever made in my life. My health is better, my relationships are stronger and even in times of struggle I have a loving, forgiving heart, and a joy that seems to only have been possible through faith.

Like I said, if you have joy in your life and are at peace every day, I think that is great for you.

I do not wish any ill will towards you or your beliefs.
SW-User
I don’t believe either...

But can you prove it’s not real?
EnchantedAzy · 26-30, FVIP
Hahaha sounds good ^_^ I always transport them safely to outside when found in my home :p
SW-User
@EnchantedAzy I let my sister do that...

Of course if it just me... and it’s me or the spider...

😶 Decisions were made.

But how can you prove he’s not real 🤨

@EnchantedAzy so naughty😂
Other stories make a lot less sense since they have zero authority.
@Pikachu
I don't like him but I will push that aside to be respectful.
@SomeLikeItHot

Good attitude. Next time i ask you a question maybe you'll do the same😉
@Pikachu
Let's take it one step at a time for miracles 😉

I don't believe its a fairytale

I could say people who don't believe in God and Jesus are stupid because the proof is as all around us but I respect other peoples beliefs and choose not to start arguments
EnchantedAzy · 26-30, FVIP
There comes a time where you will do something just to see the outcome. It doesnt mean you are less mature. It means you are able to open yourself up chance. I was curious as to how reasonable people would be when barbed.
SW-User
@EnchantedAzy I'm pretty sure you already knew what the outcome would be
Pointless to mock

Jesus isn’t a fairy so I wouldn’t know
Peekaboo20 · 26-30, F
Maybe you could instead try to prove what's real.
Peekaboo20 · 26-30, F
@EnchantedAzy I don't think you understand. Last try: Why not try to prove that your belief is true instead of trying to show that one religion within one adversarial belief is false? What do you believe, and can you prove it's so?
EnchantedAzy · 26-30, FVIP
Sweetie. Beliefs are personal. They literally do not have to be proven. Because its only you who matters. If you believe it then thats that. I have absolutely no reason to or urge to prove my beliefs to others ^_^
room101 · 51-55, M
@EnchantedAzy But it seems that you do have an urge to call the beliefs of others a fairytale. Nicely done 😕
Gforce1163 · 56-60, M
Well unsurprisingly that dragged the nutters out of their caves🙂

Probably easier than the conclusion that loved ones who die are forever gone. Sometimes I wish I still believed. 😞
@EnchantedAzy It sounds like just another type of mythology to me. I’ve concluded that people have the right to believe whatever makes sense to them, as long as they don’t use it to oppress others.
EnchantedAzy · 26-30, FVIP
Thats a good neutral standpoint ^_^
