@KelseyR Constantine called it, though he probably didn't preside over it. They finally established what was Canon and what was false doctrine, which considering what Jesus said and meant, and what is understood for salvation, was probably not as hard as it seems.

@SW-User They argued bitterly for a long time, and Constantine did play a role.

@KelseyR Interesting. My understanding has been that Constantine didn't fully become a christian till later... though this was a bit after the Malvern Bridge event and the christianization of the empire.

@SW-User He never became a Christian. He was baptized on his death bed; remaining a pagan.
