Pre-, Mid-, or Post-Trib Rapturist? [Spirituality & Religion]

Assuming that you believe in the Rapture, are you a Pre-Tribulation, a Mid-Tribulation, or a Post-Tribulation Rapturist? Please explain why.

Personally, I am a Post-Tribulation person. In the Bible, the horrors of the Tribulation are described, after which the text says: "THEN" ...

To me , the use of then implies chronology - first, the Tribulation, then the Rapture.

Given my belief in a Post-Tribulation Rapture, This means that - the good and the evil - both go through the Tribulation, then the good are Raptured.

Based on this, I see the the idea of a Pre-Tribulation Rapture as being another nefarious plot by the evil one.

Assuming that you were brought up to be a Pre-Trib believer, what will you - or anyone similarly raised - do when the Tribulation begins? When the horrors begin - horrors which they believed they had been promised respite from - many Pre-Trib Rapturists will feel cheated or lied to by God, and will turn from him so close to the goal. They will be left to the evil one.

I believe Pre-Tribulation Rapturist theology is simlply one last ploy by the evil one to turn people away from God!

As a Post-Tribulationist, if I am wrong, and I am taken up before the Tribulation, no harm done, "Hurrah, I am saved." If a Pre-Tribulationist is wrong, they are going to be confronted the possibility that God lied to them, and this could cost them their faith at a final crucial moment. Will they survive.

Hmmmm! Imagine all those big houses left over from those nutters who run their churches, and make a fortune off of pretending to be faith healers. sounds alright to me!

anyone who has studied the prophecies of the end times knows that their is biblical basis for all three doctrines. and no one really knows. i hope it's pre trib fr obvious reasons but to me rather than dogma and doctrine i prefer to live my life as though every day is the last day. and let God worry about the rest. and i truly don't see anyone having their faith dashed one way or the other. faith is faith no matter what. who are we to decide god's timeline.

As a Christian I never even think about it. I know that where ever God leads me He keeps me.
The church isn't mentioned after Revelation Chapture 3 for the rapture of the church happens, we'll have trials and such until that time but the Great Tribulation will be after the rapture

I appreciate your response. And, unlike the Pre-Tribs, neither you nor I - as Mid- and Post-Tribs, are going to have our faith dashed by not having been taken up prior to the Tribulation.

We will already be expecting to endure some of it; me -all, and you -some.

Best wishes.
