Because it always ends up coming to "So what do you believe" and when I tell them that I'm not religious they instantly start treating me like an idiot 🤦

i'm sorry you have been treated this way. i am a believer and you are far from an idiot. God gave all men free choice. therefore who are we t condemn you for your choice. i am a deep believer n God but tha doesn't mean everyone needs to be and fwiw, many here call me an idiot and insult me for my faith.
