Because it always ends up coming to "So what do you believe" and when I tell them that I'm not religious they instantly start treating me like an idiot 🤦

We all come from different backgrounds....different understandings...different ways of being brought up. Not everyone is going to believe the same...nobody is the same. No one is higher than you or anyone else and these people who treat you like an idiot aren’t worth your time. No one should be treated badly by what they believe or not believe.
