Why do Christians support people like Donald Trump and Roy Moore? [Spirituality & Religion]

I was watching Bill Maher's Religulous the other day and one Christian said "I don't know much about politics but I voted for Bush because of my faith."

I think that's all there is to know.

Most people (not all) would vote for someone simply because some part of them is similar, that's also rooted in psychology if I do believe.
