Meditation is wrong? [Spirituality & Religion]

Someone commented that meditation was among the things you should avoid. What religion teaches this? And WHY? I don't mean to offend anyone but that boggles my mind.

Meditation is a broad term, the sort that's focused on chakras opens you up so that things can get in, and in Yoga meditation the Kundilini serpent is Lucifer, and said serpent is said to ascend through the chakras to reach the mind at the top and provide "enlightenment".

Meditation in general isn't wrong, but there are many ways to do it. Some of those involve demonic entities.

@IstillmissEP I get what the promise is, the fact is it's a false promise

@th3r0n That doesn't make any sense. To be spiritually awakened and enlightened is to be knowledgeable about the world that really exists around you. Correct me if I'm wrong, but "the serpent" told eve that she would see the world that exists around her, the one god didn't want her to see? And suddenly she was able to see herself naked, and was exposed to sin? I'm not sure how it's a good thing to be oblivious to everything that you're apart of. Even if you discover things you may not like, what is a blanketed life worth?
