Since when did Christians get a free pass to judge? [Spirituality & Religion]

I’ll explain....

I was speaking to a couple of so called Christians, regarding a particular subject. When they said that said it’s okay for Christians to judge, and it says so in the Bible. They said the “judge thee lest be judge”, was taken out of context.

This brings new meaning to picking and choosing to fit their likings.

A big problem with organized religion seems to be that, it teaches all these preconceived notions, that you just have to accept without applying logic to. So religion tends to cause social separation and tries to impose on people, instead of offering them some guidance. What people really need is guidance and support rather than commandments.

@Sebastianblack agreed. The ones I spoken with were using their beliefs as more of an attack, than guidance and support. I know there are very good Christians out there. I happen to be friends and family with them. So I can tell which ones are real, and which ones aren’t. Believing in something is one thing, when it doesn’t involve hurting others. But when it’s only used as a put down, that’s a problem. These days, either people like that, don’t know any better, or they’re just being cruel.
