Since when did Christians get a free pass to judge? [Spirituality & Religion]

I’ll explain....

I was speaking to a couple of so called Christians, regarding a particular subject. When they said that said it’s okay for Christians to judge, and it says so in the Bible. They said the “judge thee lest be judge”, was taken out of context.

This brings new meaning to picking and choosing to fit their likings.

Not so and there is a scripture that says Judge ye...with righteous judgement. ...and what exactly is a “so called Christian”? Haven’t heard of that denomination or were you just...judging
.

@Luvlymi please give an example of "righteous judgement"

@Luvlymi If someone is twisting the Bible around, judging others, and saying it’s okay for them to do it because they’re Christian, then it’s Non Christian. Therefore would make them so called Christian.

First you do a study of righteousness in the bible...NT...because that’s pertinent.... get back to me in a few weeks and we’ll take it from there. Without foundational knowledge there us no ground to reply.

@Luvlymi The fact that you weren’t even a party of the conversation, I had with those losers, you want to accuse me of judging? Let me finish.... Those same people also used profanity, while speaking God’s word, all in one breath, judging others of their lifestyles by telling them they were “going to hell”. Then went on saying that it was okay for them to say this because they were Christian and the Bible says so. I don’t need to study my Bible, miss. I know the Bible doesn’t say that.

They used the scripture as a weapon, only to shame those who do not agree with them. That is what makes them so called Christian. Or calling them “fake” sounds better for you?

@Ynotisay 😂 YES!!!

@NaturalBeautyQueen "Scripture as a weapon." That seems to be the dividing line, doesn't it?
