is growing spiritually not enough? [Spirituality & Religion]

I always said u should hear everyones beliefs, everyones faith. Ive read the Bible, the Quran, the Tripitaka and even the Vedas. I've met Wiccans, Romani travelers and even self proclaimed Satanists (just playing devils advocate.) aspects from all have affected me spiritually but I've never found one I can commit to on its own above all others wholeheartedly. I've grown spiritually a great deal however. and that's all that matters to me. What else do i really need?
Jesus didn't leave us to guess. Many believe, yet aren't Christians (followers of Christ). It takes way more than just believing or being "spiritual". Satan believes, but he's not going to heaven.

Religions fail us every time. We are to follow no one but Christ, because our faith stems from him, not man. Christian just means follower of Christ, not following some religion, which is as He meant it to be.

The determining factor of one's authentic faith relationship with God is not one's denomination, religious practice or performance in Christian disciplines, but rather the presence of the indwelling Spirit of Christ, upon confession of faith. As it is written, “if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him. (Rom.8:9) Jesus' invitation always stands open for anyone to receive forgiveness, be welcomed into his family, and live eternally in heaven.

Jesus said in order to have salvation, one must recognize that he is a sinner and that his sins separate him from God the Father. That person must repent of his sins, ask Jesus to forgive them, and then accept by faith that he has forgiven them. It takes commitment and doing the will of God. Turning from your old life of sins, to a new life in him. When you repent of your sins and are forgiven, you are once again brought back into fellowship with God the Father, then inherit eternal life. It is not hard to know who to trust. Jesus said, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No man, comes to the Father, but by Me." John 14:6

I wish that just reading those books is enough to understand the ideology. It's not especially when translated.
And each ideology has many sects, it takes life time to actually grasp everything.

Spirituality is different than organized religions. It's individual and it can be achieved without associating your growth to any prior systems.

There is nothing wrong with staying open until the day you die, you will certainly grow more that way. Animism, paganism, Wiccan and shamanism are beliefs that have similar views to mine, but I don't feel the need to hitch my waggon to any train.
There are many clever books that give uselful perspectives on life and that are not preaching any religious system.

@EarthlingWise Care to suggest me one?
Michel de Montaigne, Beaumarchais, Baruch Spinoza, Voltaire, Michel Foucault, then you have poets like Audre Lorde, George Sand...

All you need is to know God is there
Motleycrue667 · 46-50, F
The main God.

@Motleycrue667 that's kind of my point. once u look at all them equally its impossible to pick one over the others as the "main god" one isnt more valid than the others.
@Motleycrue667 Ah, you mean The Great Mother. Actually, She's a goddess. Or do mean Odin, or Zeus, or Jove?
