All my life I was an awesome singer!!! Whenever I went to Karaoke all of the Bells and whistles and syrens a lights would flash for me,

Karaoke DJ after Karaoke DJ would introduce me as the best singer in the house on a full night! People would cheer, scream, clap, or simply just sit back and enjoy or sing along! That was until I turned 40!! My voice has changed since then, even my normal talking voice is more lower and husky, and I can't sing a note at ALL! Nothing Nothing at ALLLL it comes out crackling! Raspy and not in a hot and cool rocker raspy, husky like nasty!! I feel like I have lost a limb, I feel like I have lost my identity, what made me great! Is gone! I can't even sing Happy Birthday!!!

I know how you feel. I experienced the same thing. I used to sing it karaoke and everybody thought I was the best. But I've lost my voice and that really hurts. I want to get my voice back, so I can sing in church again. That is my heart's desire. They used to love it when I sing specials. I pray you get yours back. Maybe with practice we can get back to the way We were. ❤🫂

Good for you, not everyone has a voice. Sounds like your vocal range has shifted over time. Did you start out contralto and shift down to soprano? Work it to your advantage. Try adjusting your pitch until it resonates comfortably (about 40sec)

I played violin and saxophone in high school and while learning piano recently discovered I actually have a voice in the tenor range. Who knows how high it was in high school but didn't know. Experimenting with that.
