Working from home

During the pandemic, I worked from home. I normally work in an office and pre-pandemic, I coped with the general noise that came from working in an open plan environment. Working from home was much quieter and having done so for 2 years, returning to the office was a big step up in the noise volume.

I've found wearing my bluetooth earbuds really helps to cut out the extraneous noise and focus the mind.

I've been working from home for 9 years now. I'll never go back to an on-site job, if i can help it.
Zero gas, zero commute, zero office politics, zero breakroom bs, and if I'm not enjoying something, my wifi connection just gives out for a little while. Lol

I've worked from home for decades. 90% of the time, it's just me here so it's very quiet. I've always said the "commute" is great (just a few steps) and the (un)dress code is perfect! Always nude here!

Good tip. I find that people have become a little louder and less courteous of those around them. I think we need to learn again how to work in company.

Bluetooth earbuds are a life saver.
