Poppy dance arrangements of songs I've heard too many times have a place in my headphones.
This is really cute,not too overly slick and the kids can enjoy a hit that launched many a make-out back in the day.

@WillaKissing
This deserves its own post but I’m going to use it for an example for now.
An example that springs to mind right now would be when a band covers a song because it has some kind of relevance to the venue or the area of their show. The best example I can think of right now is when:
Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers covered The Count Five’s - Psychotic Reaction for the crowd at a show in the same area that The Count Five had formed as a band. Such a great and classy way to both celebrate a fellow group of musicians and treat the audience to something special and memorable and unique all at the same time.

(I know I could probably think of some better examples but I’m sleep deprived and zombified so this is the best I can do)

@WillaKissing I tend to love covers and I also enjoy remixes. I think one of my favorite things about seeing live performances of some of my favorite bands is that it was the most likely place to hear a band do a cover song. That said I rarely like hearing covers on YouTube from hobbyist musicians. I believe that it takes a true artist to create a unique sound that can make a cover a unique experience and in the most rare situations make a cover song as enticing as the original.
One example that comes to mind (out of the others I’ve heard but don’t really have the ability to remember at the moment) is Shaka Ponks - Personal Jesus

I agree with you!

I usually do not like remakes or listen to them all the way through, but I did this one. The original still makes me want to dance in my seat though.

Not a bad version, but makes me want to play the original.
