I Love A Good Cover Song

"Tubular Bells" (Exorcist Theme) - Steve Bingham

This is an awesome version of the memorable theme song from the hit movie, The Exorcist (1973).

The original song was excerpted from an album by musician-composer Mike Oldfield and was itself a hit in 1974, reaching #3 on the charts in Canada and #7 in the U.S.

I happen to think British violinist Steve Bingham's arrangement is nearly as good as the original.

I heard the song before I ever saw the movie. When the movie came out, my mom (quite rightly, IMHO) said I was too young to see it.

@SmartKat I wish I hadn't, 🥺it was awful!

@SmartKat @Peaches For some reason, I didn't find the movie all that scary or disturbing. The fact that I read the book it was based on before I saw the movie may have had something to do with that.

@Rutterman I found it very disturbing, especially when she was stabbing herself in the crotch with the cross.😖 I was never scared though.
