There is a song I only heard once and do not know the name of. How would I go about finding it?

I think it was a country and western. The Guy was singing about how his mum is a pain and whilst on his way to see her he stops off at a convenience store. Were a boy comes into the store to buy some flowers but doesn't have enough. the kid is teary eyed. He wants the flowers for his mums birthday. Or something. The Guy helps the kid out then follows to make sure the kid gets back safely since he is bit too young to be out alone and the kid goes to the graveyard... Now the Guy is eager to see his mum.
