My favorite song from a long time pal...

For those who don't know, Joan Baez was (and remains) one of America's most courageous social activists. She Marched for Civil Rights in the 60's when it was still VERY dangerous. (Birmingham Alabama) and Martin Luther King Jr. was murdered. Joan has dedicated her entire life and music to the cause of human rights and is the most humble, sweet soul I've ever met.

@bookerdana Yup. She's never talked about him much, I don't think he's a happy memory. She once said, "I should have been a gay man, I seem to relate to them a lot easier than other women" She often hides out in her backyard treehouse.

@bookerdana I have no idea, unlike Joan, I relate better with straight people than gay or lesbian, Dad and my younger brother were the same way, both gay but mostly had straight friends for some reason.
