My favorite song from a long time pal...

For those who don't know, Joan Baez was (and remains) one of America's most courageous social activists. She Marched for Civil Rights in the 60's when it was still VERY dangerous. (Birmingham Alabama) and Martin Luther King Jr. was murdered. Joan has dedicated her entire life and music to the cause of human rights and is the most humble, sweet soul I've ever met.

Thank you for the education sir. I'd always thought of her as a real screech owl. However, I realize my mistake after listening to this song. The sound is way more Nashville than I though. She really has a beautiful vibrato quality to her voice evident in here too. Cheers.

@bookerdana I have no idea, unlike Joan, I relate better with straight people than gay or lesbian, Dad and my younger brother were the same way, both gay but mostly had straight friends for some reason.

@bookerdana She comes off as very meek and mild, very loving but she is a female LION only she roars through her songs. I sent her a message earlier tonight. She may not see it for a few days as she often travels without a computer and I don't have her phone number.
