Why do men hesitate in opening up to women emotionally?

I think it is the most difficult thing, aside from our mothers, other female relative, especially romantic relationship men struggle to open up, why becuase many women will weaponize anything and everything said to them Is this true? Or they will get stuck/lost in translation reacting, holding against you.

Time and again i keep hearing from men from many walks of life. Why?

No its not true, I noticed that a lot of men have these generalized views of how women are, when all women are not the same. It has absolutely nothing to do with women in relationships, before these women even got to these men, often these men have mothers, parents in general, and society teaching them that showing emotions make them weak. As little boys, they are taught that they are supposed to be hard and not show emotions, and if they do its a sign of weakness and they bring this into their relationships.

Micheal Jackson said in the song, Will You Be There. "But they told me, a man should be faithful
And walk when not able
And fight till the end; but I′m only human". From birth, and since the dawn of time men are taught that showing certain emotions make them weak it has nothing to do with women.
