More men and children in danger. [I Hate Women Who Abuse Men And Children]

There seems to be some concern that the COVID-19 lockdown could place women in danger of domestic abuse. We should be more concerned about the increased danger to men and children. I attended another incident yesterday involving a female abuser. Her adult male partner only had superficial injuries but her 7 year old son required hospital treatment. As a child was injured the police should take action against the female abuser but I won't hold my breath.

The concern should be for all those who are potential victims. That's why we need each other as a society to watch out for others, not in an interfering way but in a supportive manner. Gender is irrelevant, but all children are vulnerable as are frail elderly and those with learning disabilities. With no-one going into care homes there is another group who have potential issues with abuse.

@Frank52 I agree. The problem is that all the support services are based on the fallacy that all domestic abuse is female victims of male abusers. All the independent studies have found that the opposite is at least as prevalent.

It's quite true that if children are not able to attend school in person, no one can see them. If the child is despondent, limps, is bruised, favors one hand, and so on, teachers who see those children in person usually notice and report possible child abuse.

I know that the ex's mother actually threw an iron at her 2nd son's head and it hit him in the head. She took him to the hospital and lied about how he got hurt. Otherwise she would be in jail. She used to hold the ex's hand over the stove to punish him for playing with matches.

@4meAndyou In many such cases suspicion automatically falls on the father or any other man present. That can often result in only protection the child has being removed, thus actually increasing the danger.

Wow 😲 how sad...☹
The lockdown should bring people more together and looks like its pushing people more apart. What a story
Also in cases of domestic violence where the men are clearly the abusers, the police will ignore that and lock up the female partner for being a nuisance...if she doesn't just shut up for everybody. Happens more than anyone thinks. Happened to me and could have ruined my life. Never got any justice from it...ever,

I also won't hold my breath waiting for society to see that societal breakdown (loss of cohesion and community) affects everyone so if they ONLY punish/attack the outward symptoms...

... that might imply condoning the CAUSES.... the main ones of which are huge disparities of wealth, abuse and short-stick effect on the already poor and all the unhappiness/outrage that creates.

Seems like everyone needs their underclass to feel more secure...except the underclass. Not that they don't play that game too. Witness most current elections.
Disgraceful examples can do that tho.
@Sharon American women are supposed to be so bloody strong and liberated and free that they can work like a slave and bring up a family with god knows what kinds of problems built in and probably the whole household too and elders and friends as well...And the critters. Act like the future is something to work for. Don't freak out. Be an example. Keep the baddies away. Monitor the television. Exhausting just thinking about it.

@Elevatorpitches Things are different there then. It's nothing like that here in the UK.

@Sharon it is,i was in a relationship for 7 years my ex wife used to abuse me emotionally
Sharon · F
@SW-User That can be just as bad or worse than physical abuse. The police seem to have a policy of ignoring male victims of domestic abuse even when there is clear evidence. It's easier for them to fob off male victims of emotional abuse by claiming there's no evidence.

That's very common too. As a paramedic I only get called to incidents involving serious injury.
That's sounds horrible. I hope nobody gets a wife or husband who is abuser and beater. 😔
I hate to hear this it breaks my heart :(
