@SSDecontrol Well… I know I’m different from the average bear here or there. 😊

But I also feel this place losing its grip on me. Sometimes it’s just not worth the peace of mind reading all the comments for whatever category of degradation they fall into. Of course I know there are some decent people here, but I’m not sure it’s worth sifting through them anymore. I’ve never in my life seen so much hate nor deception as social media holds. One thing it has taught me is just how base humans can be… and many are! And I haven’t taken this place seriously in many years but I just can’t turn my humanity nor my heart off. The hate and blindness of society is truly sickening and in moral decay. 😞 It’s almost at the point that it will affect my health and I refuse to let that happen.

I use to chat with a girl that befriended me that told me she had to go to the ER twice because SW spiked her BP up so high. I thought to myself how sad. 😞 In the end, I found out the very reason she befriended me was to find out the status of a guy she had it bad for and me was. I was so naive, it never occurred to me why she asked me right away from the beginning what he was to me…and of course the answer was just “friends”. When another guy came along she was interested in, I guess she snagged him no longer had a need of my friendship … and then it hit me that she was making sure I wasn’t involved with her ‘perceived man’ .Sad thing is that happened to me one other time on EP…So the moral of the story is this is not the place to make true friends. Most have motives from the beginning! That experience alone tempted me to never add another person again. 😞

@NoGamesTolerated So relatable. It has lost nearly all it's charm. The baseness and degradation gets to me. How low can we go. It's like wallowing in the gutter. When you've been here from the beginning it's glaringly obvious how it has changed. The vibe, the content, attitudes, etc...

And the world has truly changed. I've noticed it since the pandemic. It's no longer the world I once lived in.. It makes me sad. 😔

I refuse to let these people silence me or tell me how to think. And they can all flatter flatter each other and tickle each others ears but they can leave me out! Lol I don’t blend in easy and nor do I want to. I don’t think I’d like myself if I did. 😊✅
