My mother...you can tell we don't have the greatest relationship

My mother had me when she was young and wasn't super into being a mother/parent so to speak. I left my old job at Burger King about a week ago to go start my new job at hi KFC I'm back again! Miss me? I swear I've left that job maybe a total of 3 times and they take me back everytime. Hell I've left Burger King twice now. Well I told my mother about my new job and she told me "So you left food for food?" "You know you're never going to be able to retire" Ha that's rich coming from the lifelong bar waitress. I didn't say that because I knew if I did I'd start world war 500 and I was not about to deal with that. I swear never once has she been happy for me or proud of me. It doesn't matter what I do I'm always going to be trash to her.

At least I have a job right? Yeah I get foodstamps and state health insurance because I'm a broke ass but at least I get up every morning and go to work. Would you be happier if I sat on my porch all day long knocking back cans of natty ice and smoking from dusk to dawn? I know of several in my neighborhood who do that shit. They never go anywhere and I guarantee you can always find them doing that shit.
