@MarineBob That's probably a good idea because America is so divided that every president, no matter who, is hated by the "other" 50% of Americans. GW Bush was hated, Obama was hated, Trump was hated, Biden is being hated, and the next one will be hated too, no matter what party might support him (or her). There may well be some crackpots who see it as their mission to kill the president.
I doubt it's possible for the present or the next president to simply take his wife out to a nice candle light dinner somewhere.
