COVID 19 JUST ANOTHER FLU? [I Ve Got Something To Say]

RESEARCHERS ARE NOW SAYING the best way to build the herd immunity is to allow everyone who is healthy under the age of 40 to mingle go back to school and work if you still have a job,let these healthy people be exposed that way the herd immunity will grow naturally and the safer we will all be. they now are saying the virus was here as early as late jan, so shutting us away in march ,was like shutting the barn door after the horse has bolted.they panicked the feds remember trump saying up to two million people will die if we dont, people will be dropping dead on the subway. lol their bad leadership has led to 10s of millions unemployed growing higher daily, moneyless jobless ,who have more to fear from the economic consequences. Its a shame we cant build immunity from the state .

Yes, let鈥檚 have another surge that will overload the hospitals and health care workers.馃檮
GaVmarts26-30, M
@AbbySvenz There was never a first surge. The UK government built hospitals for the ''first surge''

they were closed after 2 months because they were mostly never used
AbbySvenzF
Well that wouldn鈥檛 help us here on the other side of the pond @GaVmarts

@GaVmarts to be pedantic they weren't closed but stopped accepting Patients but they remain in a state of readiness in case other icus get stretched again
Oster1M
@SW-User Yes but WHY stop accepting other patients. Seems very cruel and unethical to me. Other people are dying from lack of immediate medical care. Where is the common and empathetic sense in this?
GaVmarts26-30, M
@SW-User In the UK, they built new hospitals in record time, transferred sick patients to a care home all in anticipation of a surge.

There was no surge , it never happened
SW-User
@GaVmarts no because we were very lucky and lockdown worked.

Today R0 is estimated as 1 to 1.2 so.... Here we go again....
GaVmarts26-30, M
@SW-User read how the R number is calculated. A scheming tory government that wants to justify its actions.
Stop replying because I think you. are a fool.

Boris Johnson is a blithering idiot who is scared of the truth surfacing

@Oster1 they didn't we never reached peak icu beds in the UK. We got close in London but never reached.

No one who presented at A&E needing treatment was turned away. Yes we have 26,000 excess deaths but those were predominantly not in hospital so that was people deciding to not attend not being stopped.

Yes routine and non urgent appointments were stopped, largely to stop covid-19 spreading out from hospitals. Those will in some cases have led to some of those excess deaths bit I've not seen any analysis of that, ie correlation of deaths to ongoing / delayed treatment. My friend needed an urgent cancer op and treatment it was carried out during lockdown.

@GaVmarts I assure you I can get plenty of references to counter your fool claim.

I know people working on the R0 estimates they are people of the highest integrity.
Oster1M
@SW-User I appreciate your response.馃槉
GaVmarts26-30, M
@SW-User Of course you know pwople and they are of the highest integeity
SW-User
@GaVmarts do you ever provide facts, evidence or thought through opinion in a discussion or just throw childish insults?
GaVmarts26-30, M
@SW-User in your case childish insults. It is obvious from your posts that is all you understand.
no because we were very lucky and lockdown worked.
Very lucky?????? Science relies on luck?
