how do you deal with it when someone you like and trusted lets you down

i have had that in my life, where someone i started to like, let me down and i felt really angry with that person, i was so angry that i went beyond that persons 'mental capacity & understanding', went ' beyond that '.

how do deal with such a situation?

I tend to compartmentalize everything. There is nothing I can do about the pain of that, so I sit it down beside me on the bench and let it sit there while I go about life and wait for time to push it further away. Where we choose to trust we always take a gamble on this result.
