I feel like I should clarify something....

often, I say something like "I don't get it...." or "I don't understand when..."

just wanted to make sure everyone knows that when I do this, I'm not trying to catch anyone out with a "gotchya moment" or slap anyone down....

I just genuinely don't understand.
and sure, I might sound passionate, but its because I'm passionate about understanding.

I'm just trying to bridge any gaps in my understanding.
