Have you ever heard? That People only fear what they do not know or understand.

Then why live in fear?
Step out of your comfort zone and educate yourself on what you do not know or understand.
It would make everyone around you lives better and richer.

Just saying it has improved my life tremendously and allowed me to drop prejudices and preconceived notions I was raised with, and it made my life richer and fuller tenfold it has!

Step and out get educated!

Sincerely,
Willa

I wish we could have more open communication without people being offended. I thrive on understanding but often hit a brick wall obtaining it.

@Handfull1 Amen sister.
WillaKissing · 56-60, M
@Handfull1 Very true, once you start dealing with other human's things become very difficult. I bid you the best of luck talking with other human beings, I find that one extremely difficult myself.

I meant step out of your comfort zone and seek out what you do not know about and educate yourself on those things. Instead of sitting back and living in fear of what you do not know about or understand. Self-education and trying something new for yourself has nothing to do with dealing with people. And that is what makes your life richer in the knowing and trying over living in fear of the unknown.

I have head that said but i don't feel it’s entirely true.. people also fear things they do understand that are actually harmful as well
WillaKissing · 56-60, M
@YoMomma My exact point to my whole post!
YoMomma ·
@WillaKissing yeah but not all fears are unfounded in ignorance.. that was my point.. some fears are completely valid
WillaKissing · 56-60, M
@YoMomma Yes, I agree to that too. Especially with negative life experiences revolving around those fears.

For me that is romantic relationships and marriage for sure. I have given up on both because I have always had crazy liars' manipulators and cheats, so I flat quit trying and believing in those.

I've heard that, but never truly believed it. I'm usually keen on learning. Think I fear more some of things I do know about.

A little fear can be healthy, hmm?
WillaKissing · 56-60, M
@Magenta A little fear can be healthy, and it also can be a hinderance too.

I have things I am afraid of and those are the ones I tackle and work on, so I do not have to live in fear.
WillaKissing · 56-60, M
@Magenta It is true. No one who went into any career or college did not do it without a little unknown but living in fear of that unknown and not taking the step to change your life is a prime example. Or not seeking help via medical or counseling because you're afraid of it. It all revolves around "You" having the fortitude to step out of fear and trying.

Actually I fear what I know very very well
WillaKissing · 56-60, M
@Onryo That is a healthy fear, but fearing what you do not know or understand and not investigating that is unhealthy fear.
Onryo · 22-25, F
@WillaKissing true but your post stated that people only fear what they don’t know, that’s just not true, not for me anyway
WillaKissing · 56-60, M
@Onryo Life is not easy, and best wishes.

What if every time you do that something terrible happens like a curse? You also find through much experience if you stay where you are terrible things don't happen like that. Maybe there are politics involved you're unaware of. I think it's just not that simple.
WillaKissing · 56-60, M
@FloorGenAdm There is a certain amount of risk in everything in life. From education to relationships to careers to friend's choices to lifestyles to anything. But you have to take those chances to grow and thrive.

As long as you investigate and educate yourself to the unknown there are no negatives.

But if you decided to investigate the occult, infidelity, a criminal lifestyle, inner prejudices that is where you will find the troubles you were taking about.

Thats not true though is it?
WillaKissing · 56-60, M
@Entwistle On my post with my feelings and thoughts the only wrong person is the negative commenter like you!

Not knowing if you are joking or not is the only thing that kept me from down voting you reply and then deleting all your comments from my post.
