Diagnosis Titles

I Dont understand why so many people are hung up on what a therapist or anyone in that profession diagnoses them with, title wise? WHY let someone else define you? DO we , you , have to have a legit reason to change? TO be justified?

WILL this make you less or more vulnerable?

I was given a diagnosis but it doesn't define me.

What's wrong with being vulnerable?

Truth is someone needs to deal with the abusers instead of telling those who went through abuse that they're weak.

I didn't know what PTSD was until I was 30 and pregnant with my son. It had affected me my whole life but once I understood I was holding onto past events I was better able to do a lot of the healing and correcting on my own.

I feel you can say what you're saying because you have wisdom and knowledge. You could help others without making them feel stupid.

I have never put much stock in psychologists / therapists. I’ve always felt that I can solve my own dilemmas, and if I can’t, then I can tell God about it
