Would you consider having elocution lessons? Would you consider making your children have them if it's already too late for you?

Being well spoken helps one acquire a more prestigious and emotionally fulfilling careers. When I overhear young people on the bus and other forms of public transport- even if they are able to refain from swearing- I'm aghast at some of the regional accents I hear and find it hard to believe they will ever have an edifying career.

No. But I sometimes think that I should get some cards made up that offer elocution lessons to other people!

Edit: not really elocution but diction. Any accent or dialect can work so long as people speak speak clearly. Anyone in a position where they might need to communicate something important to someone from a different place should at least express themselves clearly. People such as policeman, bus drivers, ticket clerks and collectors, etc.
