Would you consider having elocution lessons? Would you consider making your children have them if it's already too late for you?

Being well spoken helps one acquire a more prestigious and emotionally fulfilling careers. When I overhear young people on the bus and other forms of public transport- even if they are able to refain from swearing- I'm aghast at some of the regional accents I hear and find it hard to believe they will ever have an edifying career.

@SwampFlower I just glanced through her previous posts and the pattern is definitely clear. It looks down on the younger generation and their ways in a stiff upper lip sort of way. With a multi generation gap.
If it’s intentional satire, it’s of a class too high for most of us SWeeps. 😀
