In the last nearly 17 months, I'd score it as me having zero trust in our government authority figures.

It depends on which authority figure is giving the info.

Quite often, though I also check their credentials and use critical thought to question their statements where needed.

It's kinda their job to keep the information.

This is how I feel about Authority Figures. I trust authority like I trust a vending machine — I put my money in and hope something good comes out and nothing ever does but spoiled food
