Not sure I have a definition but it can't be rushed.
Takes time to know if you can trust someone or not.
How I judge that is they are the same person they present themselves to be and they don't change in every circumstance into something else.
People who lie or manipulate or play with your head to get something from you are not somebody I'm likely to give another chance too.
I don't trust people who continue to say they're going to do something, but never get around to doing it.
I've always had the philosophy don't promise anything and then not obligated to do it, but if its promised then you are now obligated .
If constaly strung along then not trustworthy and are wasting my time.
You can't trust somebody that flakes off on you all the time.
And this turned into more of a rant than I meant it too... So....ah carry on ...

It's a delicate balance with a 3 strike rule, and yet modified if needed with instincts aka gut feelings. To have some sort of bs detector, which has proven reliable for the most part, and if not, then to be educating oneself for a brighter tomorrow.
