Dude, I never understood trust fall exercises

Those trust exercises are in a controlled setting with an instructor.

People doing the catching are just following orders, and of course they wouldn't drop you because backlash from instructor and potentially others in the class.

It would make them look bad.


Just because they catch you, doesn't mean they're actually trust worthy.

Those exercises don't mean nuffin 👀

It’s as you stated. It’s a controlled environment. Meant to falsely deliver a sense of trust in your fellow man.

A more honest version of this is when someone dives into a crowd from a stage at a concert.

One slowly perpetuates a long list of rules for people to fall in line with.

The other is just a run and jump without any mentioning of it happening.
