Would you trust a guy who lies about his age?

I met a guy for drinks last week (when we were interacting online he told me he was 35). When I met him in person he told me he was 40. This is the second person I know who has lied about his age to me. At least this guy admitted it

Well, people lie becuase the truth makes them feel guilty or vulnerable.

He may have felt that showing his true age would limit his chances of meeting someone.

But still.....if they lie, becuase of an undesirable truth, then what else will they lie about?
Will the lies stop there?

Lies fuck everything up. I dont understand why liars dont get this.
Lies shatter trust....and put doubt on everything that comes after.

Its good that he admitted it.
But it doenst mean he wont do it again.
Which is the bummer.
