I'm really trying to figure out my friendships around here

And I conclude to what I have overheard, two older male friends saying, back in Greece... they were saying in a general context that "we (men) have scared them (women), look at them and how they're worried" ..so I find this to be true now, I see how I am scared of men. How i am double guessing their intentions. Should I trust, should I not trust? It's a question that's coming up again this evening.

I'm a man and ever since i was a ternager i never trusted men . I went back time and time again thinking it be different and all i got was pain . Im not gay and what im saying is about friendships . Im 41 now and i prefet being on my own .
I was in a few relationships with woman and everyone of those woman cheated on , so i don't trust woman either .
I'm single now 13 years and i can tell you i went through a lot in those 13 years , people given me all wrong information, then hurting me and going back to them and then getting hurt again by mostly men , ended up in a pysche ward a fee times over it , the bullying for 13 years went beyond words , trauma don't even come close to it , so my advice go with your instincts cause a friend said to me , going back to them and expecting different results is insanity, so if you get hurt once , leave that as a lesson .
