Women - do you ever try to pick up men at hardware stores and the like?

We know a few women who tried it inc one who used to be on this site but isn't anymore, and they all say that it almost never gets them any 'hits' in terms of getting men interested.

Part of this is likely to be because almost all men going to those places are probably there because they are working (employed and getting stuff for their job) or are doing home renovations on their own home, and are in 'work brain' mode not 'sex dating hookup brain' mode.

We've met women at those places who were doing the same sort of things (female tradies or just women doing reno's) and they back this up. We find women open up easier to us as we're not perceived to be creeps/predators like most women automatically like to label men as.

Which makes it wierd that women think hardware stores are where they can do 'reverse pick-ups' by trying to get men interested in them and their antics

Men have never approached us either individually or together when at hardware stores. Plenty of men and women look, but never approach.
