I think Warhammer needs more women in it
Representation of female characters is getting better, and there are slowly more women participating, but it's still got a fair way to go. Like, two of the last three miniatures of the month have been obviously female (March's Darkoath Marauder and May's Hernkyn Yaegir - a female sci-fi dwarf!) while the other one was a ghoul so while appearing male could reasonably go either way.
I remember when I started out in 2005/6 and the key demographic was teenaged boys or adults who acted like that. There was one single female army and few non-male models outside of that. I'm glad it's changing, even if it is a long-term thing. I hope it gets more inclusive while retaining the feeling of darkness it's cultivated. Because there's no reason for the Imperium to just discard half of the population in a neverending total war.
