Girl talk. Perfume wise, Coco Chanel or Bvlgari? What fragrance is good and what does it smell like?

Tips please.
Thank you :)

Only you can find out what works on you .
I could wear a perfume that smells perfect to you, but when you wear it, it could smell completely different.

People each have acid, alkaline or combination skin. We also emit our own unique body odour.

So only you can find a perfume tjat suits you.

Ive had perfumes that i love the smell of on me, but fade within 2 hrs - they just dont 'stay'. Yet ive had others that i hated the smell of at first, yet 12 hours later smelt beautiful on me.

Its basically trial and error🤷‍♀️.
Spray on trial perfumes, (dont crush them between your wrists as you see on tv - that's wrong), and wear them for at least 24hrs. See how they sit on you , see how they wear.

You will eventually find one that is just 'you' .🤗

Edit: sometimes you might find a few, which is nice.
Some womem like to have a 'day' perfume and a 'evening ' one that is 'headier' .

Some like to have a floral one for spring and summer and spicier one for autumn and winter.

But its totally up to you what you like.
Some people gravitate to fresh citrus aromas, some like deeper florals like rose or jasmine, some like the exotic spices of sandalwood or cinnamon.

Perfumes are a very personal thing .

One more thing: don't exclude price when choosing one.

Sometimes even a cheaper perfume can be a perfect match.
I've bought expensive ones that have turned out duds, (stupid impulsive choices I didn't test first).
But I also have a cheap favourite that is wonderful and wears amazingly (which is my work one).
You never know what is going to work out, so trial, trial, trial .

Also ....one last tip.

Only trial two perfumes at once - one on one wrist, one on the other. (I trial them further up, in my elbow, so I don't accidentally wash them off at some point during the day).
The reason these spots are good trial sites is that your veins are close to the surface there - something to do with body warmth making the perfumes do their thing.
@Casheyane thankyou for being kind.
Its funny it made you feel like a kid, asIts stuff i was taught when i was younger while trying on different scents at perfumeries by older elegant looking women.
I felt kinda 'privileged' and 'noticed' and 'mothered' that they shared their knowledge with me.😄

@OogieBoogie I meant it in a good way. I like having mentors.

See, I was already quite grown when I started using perfume. :)
Even now, I actually like and appreciate it when people who are experts in different fields would happily share what they know with me cause they hope I learn from them and be better.

You'd be surprised how some can be stingy or unwelcoming even with sharing little information.

To tell you the truth, I don't have many adults around me who'd willingly spend their free time to teach me without being paid or receiving benefits somehow. That's why I truly am appreciative of what you wrote.
@Casheyane well thankyou very much. Youre welcome.
As far as im concerned, information is to be shared .🤗

Which of the Coco Chanel? You’re not referring to the Mademoiselle ?

I have the Coco Chanel. I like the citrusy open, and the warm, spicy notes of cloves and sandalwood.

It’s not as strong as the No.5, but not as light as the Mademoiselle .
@Casheyane
5 smells… formal.
Mademoiselle smells sweet and young. Their target market for that is 20-30.
@CookieCrumbs No. 5 smells amazing in the bottle but like pizza when I put it on my skin 🤣
@Pinkstarburst
Hahaha that’s a good description!!!
*you made me laugh out loud *
I rather the body mists at Bath & Body works or Red Door by Elizabeth Arden.
@MyMonstersAreReal @Casheyane I love Red Door but it gives me a violent headache.

@Pinkstarburst I use an extremely small amount and it normally last all day.

Coco smells better than Bvlgari imo. However, all of the Chanel fragrances are VERY strong. So if you apply too much, you'll smell like bug spray.
