Are you easily intimidated by confident people? Would you say it's them or you that's the problem?

How so?

I was told I can be intimidating.
I explained I paid a lot for this confidence.
I needed it to survive, and now I am keeping it because I've gotten used to wearing confidence as part of my get go.
I'm still figuring out what and who I want to be as a person, woman, daughter, sister, and all roles I play.

But honestly, comments like that make me wonder if I'm doing things wrong.

If you intimidate others by being you (maybe in how you carry yourself, etc.) even if technically, you're not being rude to them and are even greeting them nicely, is that your fault?

Being intelligent , decisive , authoritative, concise, and assertive intimidates people . I try to take the edge off in person by being kind and cheery, but I can see that how I am intimidates some people . That can鈥檛 be helped. On top of that I kickbox , work out all the time as a method to deal with my ptsd , and I legally carry a gun when I am out of the house . 馃槀馃槀馃槀
But I have a loving husband and kids , and a few amazing friends 鈥o it must not be all bad . Embrace who you are and stay true to yourself . Your family and friends understand you ! 馃槈
