Are you confident?

Confidence is not, 'They will like me'. Confidence instead is, 'I'll be fine if they don't'.

I'm often thought of as too confident. Some even question as to why I'm so confident.

"What exactly does she have to be confident about?"

The thing is though, I'm not confident that I'm the smartest, the prettiest or even goodest one.

I'm confident that I'm not perfect. That I'm not the best. And that no matter what, I will always come up short.

I am what I am. I'm what I'm working with. I'm working with what I got. And I'm good with it.

That's what I'm confident about.
