I hate staring strangers!

I seem to have the opposite problem. People often think I'm staring when I'm actually gazing into nothing. Examples: a guy confronted me outside a Wawa once. He actually wanted to fight and said it's because I was staring at him. Another time I was in Target staring at a big red dot on the wall (part of the Target logo), and a guy offered to beat me up if I didn't stop staring at his daughter. Ironically, when I looked around to see who he was talking about, there was no one there.

@Mardrae No, Wawa is a chain of convenience stores in the New Jersey/PA area. Like a 7-11 or piggly wiggly in other regions. Wawa is actually a bird, which is part of their sign.
@originnone 👍🏻

Should've stared back, first to break eye contact is the loser.

I keep to myself when I'm in the doctor's office.
@Spoiledbrat that’s the smartest thing to do anywhere 😂

@BritishFailedAesthetic I have been getting more aggressive, the older I get. It’s actually fun! 😂

{@mardrae] sorry that was the case 😞 must of made you feel very uncomfortable and awkward by his unwanted attention makes you wonder what he was thining and what thoughts where going through his mind

Why didn't you ask him if he minded not staring? 🤔
@SnailTeeth I was just about to, but they called him into the office.

@Mardrae Good for you, for being tolerant. Leering is considered harassment though, and asking him to stop because it makes you uncomfortable falls well within your rights. The trick is being transparent, which is almost a catch 22 in those awkward situations, but if they continue to do it, despite knowing it makes you uncomfortable, a little call to the non-emergency police line might change this guy's attitude. Gross pig probably does that to everyone.
