I demand it.
I earn it.
I just pretend like nobody is even there.

" Don't demand Respect from others, but don't tolerate disrespect either "

- Me

I think I'm too nice when it comes to setting boundaries. And it's really understandable cause of the way that I'm buit. But. I think it's high time that I make people stand on it.

@NativePortlander1970 This is so hard for me to do. 😒
@Umile Why? It's simple, show respect until they have shown they no longer deserve it. That grumpy old man may be a combat Veteran that lost half his buddies in a battle he still struggles to deal with. That Elderly woman may be a retired delivery nurse. That withdrawn kid that snaps out they want to be left alone may have parents and siblings that abuse them. SO, respect others as a reflection of your own character, you do NOT know what they're dealing with in life.

@NativePortlander1970 A good point. There are people who are purposefully disrespectful. I can't handle that.
@Umile Sadly I have family on both sides that are like that.
