Red pepper
She lost something she never thought she would ever have the strength to lose and yet she did , standing tall without fear in the face of adversity when she was faced with injustice she kept on dreaming and when her dreams started to die she held on to what was left of her to continue on to a better reality
Freedom was just around the corner for her… so close she could taste it and so during a hot summers day she offered to cook a meal , she took the red pepper and started to slice it … slowly and doing her best to cut it into perfectly slices cubes … she threw the rest of the pepper away and then a lil later apon reflection’ she wondered why she hadn’t planted the seeds afterwards thinking this would be too much of a faff on so she left it .
After she ate her meal she thought about those seeds again and how we lose sight of planting the good seeds because too many bad seeds were eroding the soil and turning it to sh’t
Next time ‘ … she thought quietly to herself… next time I’ll pant some good seeds
