Is this a red flag?

My friend started acting extra friendly 5 weeks a ago, I told him at the beginning that I got out of a bad relationship so i wasn't looking to date anyone at the moment, He clearly knew i was drunk when a few nights ago he asked me out. VERY drunk me agreed,
But as someone who i thought was responsible why would he do that? Number too he literally love bombed me and we have a few mutual friends in our inner So he repeats so many times , don't tell anyone we talk. I'm taken back because one i would never because it's not even serious, but why would he keep love bombing me to , turn around and say don't tell anyone we talk (mind you repeatedly)🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

@Tres13
Like when people bombard you with compliments , give you so much attention and effection especially too early.
Love bombing is a controlling and manipulative tactic most often used by narcissists and abusive people. They seek to quickly obtain affection and attention before tearing their victims down. They may appear charming and exciting in the beginning, but this usually fades away and is replaced with emotional abuse.
