I Believe You Should Never Ignore Red Flags And Gut Feelings
At the gym, feelings of being nervous, frustrated, and despair washed over me in a wave. It came crashing down on me and as the wave retreated, the indentation of the crash was all that was left. I finished my workout to near perfection despite the feelings and maybe because of them...
Nervous = I seem "afraid" to confront my demons. I want to say unable to confront them, but a more honest assessment, I think, is afraid.
Frustration = I can't seem to break-free. And, people who have given me pushes in the right direction are most likely getting bored, exhausted, and ready to walk away from my perpetual need for their random acts of kindness.
Despair = I don't know that I can overcome this... ever.
