Why is there so much social pressure to 'hook up' and 'become coupled'?

As I'm a man and not far off being 60 yrs old there's no pressure to have any kind of romantic sexual intimate encounters and that's aside from me being neuro-spicy, introverted and socially phobic so unable to 'process' how romantic adult sexual love and intimacy and relationships are supposed to work.

It seems there is massive social pressure, particularly on 20, 30 and even 40 something women, less so on men of the same age groups, to 'hook up' and 'become coupled'.

It seems women especially get this because of the social conditioning around having children. I wonder why its so much apparently for women though compared to men? I hardly ever see videos about or read stuff written about men feeling social pressure to have relationships, start a family, maybe get married, etc. not in any particular order. But social media is flooded with it from women.

How do you view this and does it affect you in any way that you'll admit to?

Are you keeping yourself withdrawn from building up friendship with attractive ladies fearing if thst would end up in sex and intimacy?
Isn't it a sort of absconding from social needs embedded in your own persona.?
